Diet Analysis

Diet Analysis services can be used to determine if your dog's diet is complete and balanced and appropriate for them based on several factors including breed, age, weight and activity level. The diet being analyzed can be homemade (raw or cooked), commercial (including canned, kibble, raw, etc.) or a combination of multiple foods.

What's Included?

• A report on the expected nutrient analysis* of your dog's current diet based on NRC nutrient guidelines
• Notes on what nutrients may be too high or too low in regards to your dog's requirements
• Notes on ingredient choices
• Notes on the macro- and micro-nutrient ratios
• Information on nutrient interactions
• Suggestions on how to adjust the diet are not included in this service. If you want to upgrade to a formulation after the analysis is done, 50% of the diet analysis cost will go towards a formulation.

Is My Dog Eligible?

• Adult and senior dogs
• Dogs with no health conditions (including GI issues)
• Dogs with known food allergies (determined via elimination diet only)
• Dogs that require a minor weight loss (BCS 6 or lower)

*Raw feeders often use obscure cuts of meat with little-known nutritional data. If we determine that there is insufficient data to provide an accurate analysis, you will be refunded.
